FENG SHUI – THE AUTHENTIC APPROACH
Master Philip Cheong, The Academy of Feng Shui, Malaysia
INTRODUCTION:
For more than 20 centuries, majority of the Chinese community subscribed to the belief that the living environment such as locality, terrain, orientation, access road, soil composition, air, building shape and room arrangement, contribute beneficially or adversely to the occupants. This practice is generally known as “Feng Shui” or “Chinese Geomancy”.
Feng Shui is the art of harnessing wind and water. It is about capturing the right Chi, the force/energy that circulates and moves within the environment, indoors and outdoors, on land, in water, across mountains……Chi is everywhere. Encouraging and capturing the good Chi that settles into/around your house/office, you will be able to attract good luck and bring abundant good fortune, engenders vibrant good health, and creates enormous opportunity and contentment bringing serenity to you and your loved ones.
It is very important that one must make a right choice before moving into a building as its environment will affect his health and prosperity. Although this tradition is originated from China, its value has been extensively recognized and accepted by scientists and scholars of developed countries.
